Rachel Ramirez (one of the active leaders of our Lubbock friends) immediately responded to our request for a complete food supplement (Ensure) to be given to some of our beneficiaries who could barely ingest ordinary foods prompted by their physical weaknesses. Ensure 400 gms. powder costs almost $ 20/can locally but according to Rachel, it can be bought at half the price in Lubbock.
Per latest communication with them, they might be sending 3-4 weeks (138 - 184 cans ) supply of Ensure 400 gms. powder any time soon.
